Computer Repairs & Maintenance

Computers can be fixed from non working, freezing etc. or slow running state. Component parts can be replaced where possible (in such cases where component replacement will not be viable, the customer will be advised accordingly).

Maintenance can consist of operating system optimisation/check-up to removal of dust build up.

Hardware & Software

Defective hardware can be replaced (with compatible parts) and/or reconfigured where needed.

Software including operating systems can be reinstalled or set up to customer’s requirements for optimal performance. Operating systems can also be supplied and installed for upgrade purposes.

Performance Upgrades

In some cases but not always, it may be possible to improve performance of existing computers by way of adding or replacing certain parts. This is normally discussed with the customer and impartial advice is given where if viable.

PC Setup & Installation

New computers, supplied by us or the customer can be installed and configured to customer needs. This may also involve transfer of data, peripheral setup or making the new computer appear and operate the same way as previous computer.

Anti Virus & Anti Spyware

The need for correct security is increasing on a daily basis. Most readily available security packages are adequate but very complex, often requesting authority from the computer user. As well as installing and setting up such programmes, customers are advised about what to look out for and how to answer such questions. The customer is also advised and given the opportunity to contact us in any such case of uncertainty.

Broadband Setup

Setting up an internet connection should be a relatively simple task but sometimes is far from it. Equipment supplied nowadays, although in principle the same, vary in process of configuration. Coupled with legacy problems from other equipment, previous attempts to set up a connection or problems at the telephone exchange, things can escalate and make matters worse. Part of our day to day operations are dealing in such cases, ascertaining what the cause of the problem is or getting the problem rectified by the internet service provider. Our aim is to remove any frustrations for the customer and attaining a connection as swiftly as possible.

Wired/Wireless Networking

Having a single computer at a home or business location is becoming the exception. Implementation and support for single computers or many in one location can equally be supplied.

In the case of several computers being located on the same premises, these can be connected sharing resources such as internet connections or peripherals components. This can be carried out on a wired or wireless basis. Our service includes setting up, maintaining diagnosing problems and repairing faults in existing networking environments.

With appropriate equipment, wireless network range can be extended for larger premises.

New and Used Spares

Commonly used spares are carried in our vehicles when visiting customer premises. A larger range of new as well as second hand spares are held at our premises and can if ordered for next day delivery if required.
